The Hug-A-Bear Foundation INC. started 12 years ago with 20 bears and an idea to help children facing difficult and often heart-breaking situations, by providing that extra hug when it’s needed most. Since its modest beginning, the Hug-A-Bear Foundation INC. has since distributed thousands of cuddly Hug-A-Bears with the help of many first responders and the Foundation’s loveable mascots Hug-A-Bear and Honey-A-Bear.
